The client lives near the beach, so title means 'sun' in Malaysian, which takes on both sunrise and sunset.
I feel like those morning and dusk colours talks well with the subtle timber tones in the painting. Beach sand for texture and about 6 layers of oil wash resulted in a nice, low-key vibe.
