I felt nervous and unsure. Probably even a little bit worried. "Can I do this? Can I be proud of this?" I was conflicted with a lot of these feeling when I painted this piece and honestly still carry a few of them when I look at it now.
But that's just what you want to feel when you're doing something you're not used to. Doing something that challenges you because you want to jump out of the box you've made for yourself.
I don't know if I've been successful, but I feel successful for trying.
